Problems of implementing the policy for ensuring the economic security of the regions of the Russian Federation

In modern conditions, the interest of researchers in the problems of formation and development of mechanisms for ensuring the economic security of the regions of the Russian Federation is increasing. This is due, among other things, to the growing differentiation of the country's subjects in terms of the most important indicators of socio-economic development, due to the lack of uniform standards aimed at identifying and preventing external threats, taking into account new challenges, as well as due to the different specifics and different status of the regions of the Russian Federation. In this regard, regional economic security should be considered in the context of the goals, objectives and mechanisms for implementing the state policy of regional development.
