Problems of implementation all-Russian physical culture and sports complex "Ready for labour and defence" (GTO) in physical education students

The article presents an analysis of a number of problems of the implementation of the complex GTO in the educational process on the physical education of students of Vologda State University. Identified the motives of students to perform the complex. The insufficient degree of readiness of teachers in physical culture to their own self - education on the issues of the complex GTO, to competently inform students and conduct activities that increase students' motivation has been identified.
