Problems of preserving the historical and cultural heritage of the Civil War in the north of Buryatia

The article considers the issue of memorializing the heritage of the Civil War on the territory of the North-Baikal district of the Republic of Buryatia. The authors characterize the events of December 1921 and the advancement of V.L. Duganov’s squad on the territory of the northern coast of the Baikal. Particular attention is paid to the description of the current condition of the monuments dedicated to the victims of V.L. Duganov’s squad and installed in the settlements of the district in the 20s-80s of the XX century.
