In the modern world, digitalization is an inevitable trend in the development of many states and the civil branch of law. The methods and goals of the state evolve with the development of public relations. In order to change society and implement the tasks necessary for the state, the state develops and approves new rules of conduct. Such norms of behavior are expressed in laws that regulate many aspects of human life, including the complex of economic relations for the transfer of material goods from one person to another as a legal (civil) form of commodity exchange. At the moment, with the development of new technologies and the introduction of innovations for a more convenient and developed civil turnover, legislators and economic entities face new problems that are directly related to the digitalization of the economy. An electronic contract drawn up between two parties is not always legal or fair, since it can cause devastating legal consequences not only for the counterparty, but also for the entire civil turnover, as a result of significant misconception or deception.
