Problems of improving the system of courts of general jurisdiction and arbitration courts in the course of judicial reform in Russia

The article deals with the issues of the judicial system in the Russian Federation in the light of the ongoing judicial reform in the country. Settles opinion on the feasibility of unification of courts of General jurisdiction and arbitration courts, the transition to three-tier court system, comprising of first instance considering the totality of, court cases, second appeals and third court of cassation, which would bring the Russian judicial structure in line with established international standards.
