Problems of modern education in south Korea

The article focuses on the main trends in modern education in South Korea. The authors explore the achievements of Korean education, investment in education and employment problems of university graduates. Despite the increase in public and private education expenditures and the increase in the number of students, university graduates have problems with employment, and the salary offered to them is often below the level of salaries of school graduates. Vertical differentiation of universities affects the quality of higher education: lower-level universities produce specialists whose qualifications are insufficient for work. In conclusion, there are measures, which would contribute to solving problems in education.
