Development of law in modern Russia: growing pains

In this article, the author explores the concept of the rule of law in relation to modern Russian reality. The author notes that the Russian Federation has formally become a legal state in accordance with the Constitution of the Russian Federation of 1993, where this provision is directly stated. In addition, the Russian Constitution has implemented other provisions that reveal the essence of the concept of the rule of law. The current legislation of Russia also fully stems from the constitutional model of the rule of law.
