Problems of the transport infrastructure in Krasnoyarsk and the main ways of their solutions

This paper is devoted to the problems of the public transportation in Krasnoyarsk and the reasons the passengers prefer personal transport over the public one. The author studies the conditions of the city transportation system supporting the optimum transport infrastructure, which would contribute to improvement of the population’s living standards and advance the investment appeal of the city. The article discusses the statistic data and conclusions, obtained by observation and assessment of the resources required for the transportation problem solution. The environmental contamination determined by the increase of the vehicle number is considered. The proposed measures may be implemented and taken into account when managing transport infrastructure in Krasnoyarsk.
