The article discusses the problems of the transport infrastructure of the Altai Territory and its impact on the economic development of the region. The key factors hindering the efficient operation of the transport system are analyzed, such as the deterioration of transport networks, lack of investment in infrastructure modernization and expansion, as well as limited opportunities to maintain international transport links.
