Problems of accounting for cash pooling operations

Бесплатный доступ

This review article shows the main problems and advantages of using cash pooling in making settlements for groups of interconnected organizations, and also explains the mechanism for reflecting the facts of economic life in accounting and tax accounting using a system that is used to control several bank accounts simultaneously, which is the provision and receipt of intra-group loans. In the work, the author notes the latest changes in legislation that should be taken into account when conducting intra-group transactions. An assessment is given of the main tax risks that arise in cases where intra-group financing relates to controlled transactions and (or) controlled debt arises. If the borrower recognizes the cash pooling debt as controlled, there is a risk of reclassification of part of the interest expense to the payment of dividends.
