Problems of accounting for official time in the internal affairs bodies

The article deals with some issues of the organization of accounting of service time of employees in the Department of Internal Affairs. The classification of types of service time depending on the duration is given: normal, abbreviated, and incomplete. The author analyzes the normative legal acts regulating the procedure for accounting for official time, identifies legal conflicts and suggests ways to resolve them. The authors draw attention to the shortcomings of the regulation of the procedure for maintaining the service time report card, since it does not apply to all service hours and does not take into account the shift mode of work, which makes it difficult to calculate during the calendar year, and also does not detail the provision of additional days of rest when attracting on weekends or holidays.
