Problems of managing the development of the transport system of the city of Nizhnevartovsk

The article is devoted to the analysis of changes, and the analysis of trends and results of the transport policy of the city of Nizhnevartovsk. The sphere of transport infrastructure requires special attention in the field of assessment methods, empirical analysis of the quality of satisfaction with the work carried out in this direction. The study proves that transport networks and services play a key role in improving the quality of life of citizens of the country and in the growth of opportunities for the development of the national economy. Special emphasis is placed on the fact that passenger transport is an integral part of the transport infrastructure of both the city and the region. Its well-coordinated, sustainable and effective functioning is a necessary condition for improving the quality of life of the population and further socio-economic development of the city, the region and the country as a whole. When determining the effectiveness of the functioning of transport infrastructure in a market economy, preference should be given not to a single criterion, but to a system of criteria and the use of expert approaches. The article analyzes the state and changes in the indicators of municipal management in the field of transport infrastructure of the city, which was necessary to determine the evaluation of the effectiveness of municipal authorities in terms of supervising the transport complex of the municipality.
