Problems of sustainable socio-economic development of regions and world practice

Based on the use of a wide range of statistical indicators, the most characteristic processes of the socio-economic development of the Kyrgyz Republic are revealed. It is concluded that the presence of a poor population and the socio-economic stratification of society in terms of material well-being to one degree or another is characteristic of any society, regardless of its level of development. It is believed that the high polarization of the population in terms of income is a brake on economic growth, and close attention is paid to this problem as one of the priority goals for the development of the republic.
