Problems of verification of information flows in the context of a global political confrontation

The article examines the problem of fact-checking and verification of unstructured information flows used in the media for research and analytical purposes in the context of geopolitical confrontation between world powers and the use of revolutionary opportunities in the field of dissemination of fake information by means of artificial intelligence (AI). The author considers a comprehensive approach to solving the issue based on the use of a comprehensive systemic verification of the reliability and accuracy of information and the quality of data coming from various information sources. The work proposes a number of additional measures to strengthen the support measures for the state information policy of the Russian Federation.
