Problems of reproduction of human capital in Russia

In modern conditions, human capital becomes one of the main factors of economic development and increasing the competitiveness of the national economy. Investments in human capital turn into an economically profitable project at the national and corporate levels. The key mechanism not only for the preservation, but also for the development of human capital is education, in particular, the system of continuing education, which implies the need for systematic professional development of employees of all age groups, as well as retraining under changing conditions and encouraging continuous self-education. The purpose of this work is to study the problems of reproduction of human capital in modern conditions. The objectives of the work are to consider the essence of human capital, to study the system of continuing education as a factor of reproduction of human capital, to analyze ways to solve the problems of reproduction of human capital. As a result, a set of measures is proposed to stimulate the system of continuing adult education in modern conditions, associated with a direct increase in the volume of existing support measures and the further development of ongoing national and federal projects, industry programs for updating technologies and management techniques.The research methodology is based on a systematic and historical approach, statistical and comparative analysis.
