Problems that have arisen in connection with the change in the structure of acreage in the Altai territory

The article analyzes the dynamics of the acreage of crops in the Altai Territory, one of the largest agricultural regions of Russia. The authors note an increase in the total sown area and a change in its structure in favor of industrial crops, which indicates the systematic work of agricultural producers of the region to grow high-margin export-oriented crops. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the gross harvest of grain crops, thanks to which the region occupies the fourth place in the Russian Federation, while maintaining a leading position in the production of buckwheat.
