Procedure for filing an international application for registration of industrial design for the Hague system

The author of this article considers the procedure for registration of industrial design in accordance with the Hague Agreement Concerning the International Registration of Industrial Design of 1925. The article analyzed the characteristic features of filing out an international application in two ways: on the official from using the DM/1 form and using the E-filing electronic filing interface on the WIPO official website. The article provides a list and calculation of the main types of registration fees. Based on the study, the author concluded on the advantages of filing an international application in accordance with the Hague system.
