In this paper, the concept of the board of directors is given. The order of work of the board of directors is considered. It is said that the meetings of the board of directors of the joint-stock company are convened by the chairman of the board of directors on his own initiative, at the request of a member of the board of directors, the audit commission, the auditor, the executive body of the company, and other persons determined by the charter.
