The process of cognition by mankind of the device of the universe through the properties of holograms

The article considers one of the remarkable achievements of modern science and technology-holography. Holograms have a unique property - to restore a full three-dimensional image of real objects. The name comes from the Greek words holos - full and grapho - I write, which means a complete image recording. Holography is a photographic process in the broad sense of the word, is fundamentally different from conventional photography that in the light-sensitive material is registered not only the intensity but also the phase of the light waves scattered by the object and carrying full information about its three-dimensional structure. But the picture, which at first glance, objective way of image registration, gives a very subjective information when we look at, calculated on the perception of the human eye. But all the main drawbacks of photography are fully compensated for by a fundamentally new method of image registration, called holography.
