Procedural aspects of challenging normative legal acts of local self-government

Purpose: Study of the contestation of normative legal acts of local self-government. Methodology: Used the historical-legal and formally legal methods. Results: In the article the author analyses the most important provisions of the Code of administrative procedure of the Russian Federation, devoted to the proceedings on challenging the normative legal acts. In particular, we consider the requirements and the conditions of their appeal to the court and the time within which it may be filed the administrative petition on challenging the normative legal act; legal consequences of the loss of force act during consideration of the case of its contestation; the requirements to the representatives on cases on challenging normative legal acts; options for procedural action by the court, if an administrative petition contesting a normative legal act is not subject at the time of application to acceptance to production. Novelty/originality/value: The article is an attempt to investigate the legislation in the sphere of contesting normative legal acts of local self-government.
