Sustainable investment processes in Russia and worldwide

EGS investing is one of the global trends and is becoming increasingly widespread in Russia. Sustainable investment is a part and consequence of the global project to transform the world “Sustainable Development Goals”, the essence of which is to preserve the natural, energy potential of the planet for future generations, ensuring the stability of social and cultural systems. This article analyzes the institutional foundations of responsible investment and trends in the global sustainable finance market. It is established that Russia, with some lag, also follows the global trend of sustainable investment, which is confirmed by a number of factors analyzed in the article. A comparative analysis of responsible investment processes in Russia and in the world has been performed on 6 factors: the volume of the sustainable investment market, the dynamics of the sustainable investment market, types of market instruments, market growth forecast, greening effect, disclosure of information in the field of sustainable investment.
