Cytokines production, sensory sensitivity and gender self-identification in males with drug dependence

Results indicating to gender self-identification of males associated with different mechanisms of formation of substance dependence have been presented. Masculine gender directivity with combination of clinical signs of immunological deficiency or feminine gender directivity associated with cytokine hyperalgesia may be factors of predisposition for onset of drug dependence.
