Intellectual history project and legacy of Sergey Averintsev (the second paper)

It is proposed to use the general framework of intellectual history as a sufficiently significant and relevant disciplinary context in relation to a number of works by S. Averintsev. The attribution of Averintsev’s heritage to intellectual history is justified by his studies of the intellectual culture of Europe in its “big time”, including Antiquity and the Middle Ages. The key theoretical and cultural-historical concepts of Averintsev’s intellectual-historical optics are the concepts of “reflexive traditionalism”, “Christian aristotelism”, “rhetoric”, and “rhetorical type of rationality”.
