The project «Velikiy Ustyug - Father Christmas' homeland»: the implementation results and prospects

Since 1998, a unique tourism project «Velikiy Ustyug - Father Christmas' homeland» approved by the President and the Government of the Russian Federation is realized on the territory of the Vologda region. The article presents the 10-years project results, which is an important means of upbringing children and youth, and healthy living formation. There is need for further development of the project through state support in the creation of transport and social infrastructure, human resources.
