Designing an adaptive interface of an information system for support of educational institution 's activities

The article deals with the principles of designing adaptive interfaces for information systems that accompany the educational process in the conditions of dynamic changes in the needs of the economy. The authors note that the information systems should allow working with different types of information. Ways and methods of presenting information content that accompanies the activities of an educational institution should depend on the characteristics of the user who is a consumer of this content, and the situational context of using the system. In this paper, the main requirements for multimedia systems to improve the effectiveness of the educational process are formulated. A modular structure for the adaptive interface of an information system is proposed. As an example a model of the user of the information system of a secondary school, which provides information about him for further adaptation of the system, has been developed. The practical value of this research is the possibility to use the proposed system structure and user model in the development of a real multimedia system that accompanies educational activities. The requirements and regulations that have been formed are general in nature and can be used in the design of applied information systems in various subject areas of the national economy ensuring the effective functioning and management of the organization.
