The assessment to determine the acoustic effectiveness of the sound proofed enclosure a small volume was gave. The analysis of resonance phenomena in the air volume and in the plates was made. Experimental study of the effect of sound absorbing material and vibration-absorbing coatings on the enclosure efficiency was presented. Basic recommendations for the design of small volume enclosures was developed.
