Working conditions and criteria of working capacity of fixed rubber seals are considered. The technique of an assessment of working capacity of non-standard fixed seals at a design stage by the numerical analysis methods of strain-stress state of rubber elements is presented. Examples of the designed seals working in the underwater oil-production equipment are given.
