Project activities in the management practice in the sphere of culture of the Russian Federation

Socio-cultural activity plays a leading role in the formation of a harmoniouslydeveloped personality at the current society development. Every day the culturaland spiritual needs of citizens increase, as a result, the process of providing cul-tural services becomes more complicated. The existing approaches to the organi-zation of cultural activities do not meet the increased demands of the society,and cannot fully implement the tasks of the state cultural policy. There is a needto find innovative forms of cultural activities organization. The article dealswith the existing successful practices of the project approach to the managementof the sphere of culture, the features and prospects of project activities in Russia.
