Professional identity of servicewomen: the concept content

The paper considers the specifics of the professional identity development of servicewomen studying at the military university. It is shown that unlike other types of identity, the professional identity involves its compliance with such categories as “suitability” and “readiness” of a person for a given vocational sphere. The authors consider the interrelationship and interdependence of the concepts of “profession”, “professional identity”, “professional suitability” and “professional readiness”.
