Professional police of Afghanistan: experience training in 2003-2006

The article discusses the experience of training personnel for the police of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan from 2003 to 2006, when the question of staffing the Ministry of Interior as soon as possible with new staff members became acute. Various approaches to the organization of police training, the effectiveness of intensive training programs arising in the process of their implementation are investigated. Particular attention is paid to the training of police officers on short courses.
