Professionally important personal traits of penal system psychologists

The article presents the results of the research that involved the psychologists working in the penal system. The study was aimed at identifying of the most relevant personal traits required in the professional activity of the penal system employees. Content summarizing of professionally important personal traits has allowed the authors to distinguish three classification groups: cognitive, emotional and interpersonal interaction spheres. Applying the method of factor analysis the authors identify the most important personal traits for prison psychologists in each of these groups.
