In today’s competitive environment, effective HR policies are a strategic advantage for organizations. Companies that actively invest in the professional development and training of their employees, adapting their skills to the needs of the business, enhance their competitiveness. Professional training helps employees acquire new competencies and improve existing ones to handle complex tasks, adapt to innovations and technological changes, and enhance the quality and productivity of their work. The primary goal of such training is to enhance the skills of employees to improve the performance of the company. This article provides an overview of research that highlights the importance of professional training and education for effective human resources policies and organizational management. It explores the key factors that demonstrate the need for developing human resources policies within an organization. In addition, the article discusses the issues of professional development of employees within the framework of personnel policy on the example of a commercial organization, with a focus on such problems as insufficient control of training, lack of a full-fledged analysis of the effectiveness of training. Solutions are proposed to improve the efficiency of the training system and eliminate the identified problems.
