Professional development of state servants as a mechanism for forming personnel potential of public administration

A well-functioning mechanism for organizing the professional development of state civil servants of the Russian Federation ensures a continuous increase in the general level of their competence and ensures the successful achievement of the goals and the solution of the tasks facing the state body. The article discusses the basic laws affecting the order of professional development, explores the main trends and practices of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation in organizing the professional development of public civil servants, and identifies problems.
