The article summarizes the experience of studying the discipline «Professional communications in the library and information sphere» among undergraduates of the profile «Theory and methodology of library and pedagogical activity» specialty 51.04.06 «Library and information activity». Various types of professional communications are specified, some updated methods of teaching them professional communications are characterized: mind map, presentations in the educational process.
