Professional selection and team education in volunteer public activities

The article discusses the characteristic features and specifics of volunteering withinthe current trends. The authors present the historical aspects of volunteering,stages of its development in historical retrospective. The positive aspects ofvolunteering, problems of its development, features of the volunteer movementimplementation through the prism of the project approach are investigated. Criteriaand requirements for volunteers, features of professional competencies and skills,as well as the possibility of team building as a tool to ensure the effectiveness ofvolunteering, were studied.
