Professional potential of the Republic of Kazakhstan

This article is devoted to the analysis of the professional potential of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the basis of an empirical study. The main aspects affecting the development of human resources in the country are considered. The article analyzes various aspects of society’s attitude to vocational education, such as the perception of the quality of education, the role of vocational education in career growth, preferences in choosing educational programs and educational institutions, as well as evaluating the effectiveness of the vocational education system. Based on the data obtained, the article provides an overview of the current attitude to vocational education and its place in the system of professional orientation of citizens, as well as the success of inclusion in the labor market. The significant factors of the formation of the workforce are determined, self-assessments of the level of professional competence are given; data on the opinions and attitudes of society in relation to vocational education are presented, problems and challenges faced by educational institutions are identified. Based on the conducted research, the factors contributing to or hindering the development of the country’s professional potential are analyzed, including the socio-value attitudes of society, socio-economic conditions, the level of technological development and the needs of the labor market. The results obtained can be used to develop strategies for the development of the vocational education system, as well as to form recommendations for improving the quality of the educational process and meeting the needs of society.
