The article deals with actual problems of preventing crimes related to illegal drug trafficking in the Chelyabinsk region. At the same time, it is emphasized that these crimes are characterized by high public danger, since they cover mainly the younger generation. The analysis of judicial and investigative practice on cases of this category has been carried out, and proposals have been developed to increase the effectiveness of preventive measures.
