Preventive antiplatelet therapy of ischemic heart disease complications in conditions of variability of platelet response

Antiplatelet therapy in patients with coronary artery disease seems to be a complex clinical and pharmacological task due to the different sensitivity of patients to treatment and the complexity of control of therapy. The review presents literature data on platelet resistance to antiplatelet therapy and its complications. The options for modifying antiplatelet therapy, ways of overcoming resistance and increasing its effectiveness are considered.
