Psychosomatics is a branch of medicine and psycology that studies the influence of psycho- logical factors on the appearance and somatic disease course. The cause of these diseases is trau- matic past experience, psychic traumas of early infancy, which can have a long-term or chronic ef- fect. CNS, dermal and digestive systems are the most open areas to the appearance of psychoso- matic disorders. Prophylaxis of psychosomatic disturbances should be realised taking into account psychosocial, genetic and cerebral and factors. The principal treatment mode is psychotherapy. Children’s psychosomatic illnesses are among the most widely-spread forms of children pathology. The ability to diagnose correctly and to combine individually and efficiently the basic biological therapy with the psychotherapeutic correction and psychopharmacological therapy allows getting significant results in the treatment of these disorders.
