Prevention of psychoactive substances in youth environment

The article discusses preventive measures for the use of psychoactive substances among young people. Prevention is a complex of social, educational and medical and psychological measures carried out by the state, public organizations, and individual citizens in order to prevent the spread and use of psychoactive substances. The approaches and classification of prevention of negative social phenomena, namely, primary, secondary and tertiary prevention, are presented. Among the objects of prevention are the family, youth, minors, informal youth associations, etc. Parents of minors are an important subject in the prevention and diagnosis of psychoactive substance use.
