This article was devoted to detection prognostic parameters of human endurance at performing intensive work to failure with a hypoventilation of breath. The study involved 13 healthy volunteers; males aged 18-22 years, regularly engaged in physical training. Each subject performed operation on the cycle ergometer twice. Between the first and second examination the subjects were taught hypoventilation breathing during 30 days. It has been shown that subjects initially having a high level of physical performance, high initial level of subjective well-being and ability to long delays of breath at inspiration, significantly raised the level of their endurance to intense physical load with hypoventilation of breath.
