Forecasting of efficiency of designs of drainage trays from a composite material by a method of a qualimetric estimation of patent decisions

When choosing a new specific technical solution for drainage systems of roads and bridges, a patent study of existing developments is carried out. Sources of patent information in the practice of engineering forecasting are considered to be the most convenient and reliable for analysis. Feature of the patent information is mainly non-parametric in nature. The use of the verbal formula of the patented technical solution makes it impossible to compare it with the analogues and prototype of the new technical solution proposed by the author. This problem is also characteristic of patent claims for drainage trays. The use of qualimetric estimates of patent information sources allows to obtain quantitative values of the effectiveness of a new solution in comparison with the prototype and analogues at the forecasting stage. The formation of evaluation tables for the qualimetric evaluation of patent solutions is carried out according to a matrix of criteria: the level of the technical solution system (1-5 level) - a group of features (element, relative position, ratio, shape and material).
