The probable-deterministic method of prediction the corrosion defects of a section of main gas pipeline is devel-oped. The estimation of defective pipes on parameter of corrosion defects density by depth more than 15% from thickness of a wall is carried out. For prediction the model of growth rate of corrosion on a file of defects by depth from 12,5 up to 15% is used.
