Forecasting the damages accumulation and resource of locomotive wheels in the conditions of cold climate

The method of assessment the damages accumulation and resource of railway equipment elements is described. Calculation of accumulated damages in a wheel bandage taking into account the influence of low temperatures on decrease in plasticity is made. Results of calculations allowed to estimate the accumulated damages depending on environmental temperature in regions with moderate and sharply continental climate. Approach in which by means of numerical approximation the values of impact strength corresponding to the minimum temperatures of the region on calendar months are calculated is offered.
