The modeling of horizontal wells that enable the development of high-viscosity oil pools of small thickness (up to 10 m) is considered. Several hydrodynamic models of oil-pool of Yarega field with different thickness: 10, 20 and 30 m - are created. The processes of thermal action on the bed, namely the injection of hot water and vapor, are simulated. The calculation of technological parameters of the development and the estimation of economic efficiency of the proposed variants with the aim of choosing the optimal variants of development of high-viscosity oil pools of small thickness, are made.
