The article gives an example of using the extrapolation method and the moving average exponential smoothing method the development of the hotel industry based on an analysis of the available statistical base. Using this method allows you to make an accurate forecast for the coming year based on limited statistical data. The performed calculations are the basis for further research and expansion of the forecast horizon for a longer period.
