The article presents the results of the research on forecasting the development of a grain-product subcomplex based on the structuring of business processes and innovation and investment activities. The fundamental transformations that have affected the Russian economy over the past decades have led to a significant transformation in the work of the grain production subcomplex, identifying new guidelines and directions for its further development. The methodological basis of this research is a comprehensive combination of various approaches, methods and tools, which make it possible to analyze and master new forecasting strategies for the development of the grain-product subcomplex in detail.
