Forecasting the response of the regional socio-economic system to the industrial digital transformation

The relevance of the research is due to the fact that there is a lack of scientific knowledge in determining and justifying the reaction of the regional socio-economic development system to industrial digitalization. Currently, industrial digitalization is taking place, namely the creation and use of innovative digital technologies, therefore, the issue of managing functional changes and predicting the system’s response to these effects remains important. At the same time, an equally important issue is the development of scientific and practical recommendations for the formation and maintenance of the integrity and functionality of the current industrial complex, which is developing during scientific and technical breakthroughs that significantly change the shape of the regional industry. The purpose of this research is to identify the reaction of the regional socio-economic system to industrial digitalization. The leading approach to the research is an integrated one, and the method is statistical and economic, which allows one to give the most complete description of industrial development at the present time. As a result of the analysis, the reaction of the socio-economic system to the digitalization of the region’s industry is presented and substantiated: at present, under the influence of internal and external factors, the digital transformation of the industry of the Chuvash Republic is being carried out, focusing on which industrial companies are adapting to new conditions, introducing innovative technologies into the production process.
