Forecasts of the federal budget revenues of the Russian Federation

The article discusses the forecasting of the federal budget. There has been calculated a trend forecast of the Russian Federation federal budget revenues. The linear trend model has been chosen from the set of five models. The resulting forecast is very close to the forecast developed by the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation, the maximum difference is 1.6%. The authors have calculated optimistic and pessimistic forecasts of the Russian Federation budget revenues assuming that there will be no structural changes in the Russian economy. The authors also consider the conditions under which optimistic and pessimistic forecasts could be implemented.
