Investigation programming - a forensic phantom?

The article discusses the theses of the theory of investigation programming, the results of forensic research in the development of forensic programs and algorithms for preliminary investigation. The obtained data on the activity of applied developments of crime investigation programs are analyzed. Special attention is paid to the quality of algorithms proposed in the forensic literature for solving typical investigative situations.
